HUSENDRO & PARTNERS is a law and human rights consultants offices who specializes in providing advocacy and law & human rights consultancy with Indonesia’s perspective and culture approaches. We established this office since 2015 to serve and handle in a comprehensive and progressive law and human rights problems faced by individuals, companies, governments and non-governmental organizations with the scope of services include: Advocacy, Consulting and Training.

HUSENDRO & PARTNERS counsels foreign investors in the cement, oil & gas, mining, geothermal and renewable energy sector, and keeps up to date with new regulations that have radically changed the investment climate. We also handle all corporate, environmental, labor, mining rights, tax, contract negotiation and dispute resolution matters for our energy, mining and other natural resources clients, as well as representing lenders in mine financing projects

For more than 20 years, the founder HUSENDRO & PARTNERS involved in handling many criminal cases, provide settlement solutions to the problems that occur, provide training of inquiry and investigation to the police officer. Armed with the this experience, we believe it will help the settlement of the problem being faced by or will be faced our clients.

Our experience working in government bureaucracy for 10 years and our academic backgrounds who study public administration and constitutional rights as well as the experience of attending various hearings in the Administrative Court and the Constitutional Court, makes us optimistic to handle problems faced by clients in this sector

HUMAN RIGHTS

Employing qualitative approach, with an explorative research type that tries to discover any information concerning the cultural and socio-economic condition of the society. Moreover, this research also tries to discover issues related to social grouping and layering aspects, and the stakeholder’s perception towards related issues of the corporate activities in the operation area.

Land Acquisition (LA) Process is mainly based only on the legal approach. Actually, the ideal LA process needs an interdisciplinary approach from all aspects because the object which will be handled are humans with all its problematic complexity. The best approach of LA process covers all interdisciplinary aspects to synchronize solutions of problems that arise from those cases. The mechanism must require the availability of LA process that does not only comply the regulations, and also provide the Human Rights Approach aspect. The Human Rights Approach aspect is very significant to unsure the whole LA process fulfills the human rights protection aspect. Moreover, the mechanism is significant for the company as a capital to build relation and trust of the surrounding society, and as the company value in the future

Purposee to Understanding the legal problems related to fulfilling the human rights aspect in industry and investment; Able to identify and map the potential conflict related to human rights aspect; Finding solution and synthesis from problems in fulfilling human rights which occurred in the field from a judicial perspective and other related aspects (and considered very significant); and Finding a solution from problems in fulfilling human rights related to sociological problems.

Methodology: Presentation, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), Case Simulation and Handling.

Advantage: Participants acquire the basic knowledge in fulfilling human rights; Understanding the problems in fulfilling human rights aspect in the comprehensive oil and gas industry; Participants are able to recognize the problems in fulfilling human rights aspect from various point of views of experts which has a strong competence in human rights issues; and Participants are able to analyze and posture conflicts, and able to find the best solution to the conflict.

Advocacy aimed to find out whether human rights violations or not to then do mentoring and giving suggestions for the best interests of the client in order to meet all stages of national and international human rights mechanisms
